For Adults
  What is Kidsline?

Kidsline aims to increase independence and enhance hope by supporting and empowering children to use the resources around them in an effort to help themselves.

Kidsline is part of the LifeLine family of services and is a well established and highly respected early intervention telephone help line which can assist children shortly after a need has arisen. In reducing distress and shortening the episode of care we hope to minimise any subsequent intervention.

Kidsline is New Zealands only free 24 hour telephone help line, where children can talk with a Buddy about any issues or problems they have. Kidsline Buddies are available to answer the phones between 4pm and 6pm each weekday.
