Here you'll find some useful information about Kidsline and the services we provide. If you have any questions, see out 'contact' or 'got questions' section.

Kidsline is a near-peer telephone counselling service, aimed at children up to 14 years of age. Kidsline has been operating since June 1988.

Kidsline Buddies are trained teenage telephone counsellors, supervised and supported by Kidsline management as part of Lifeline Aotearoa.

Kidsline doesn't offer advice, or tell children what to do. Instead, Kidsline Buddies listen and understand a child's situation, and help them to identify their own resources and options to help things change.

Kidsline receives calls covering a number of issues, and if you think your child might benefit from talking to someone, then please encourage them to call us - it really does help to talk.
