what are feelings?

Feelings and emotions are always around: in our thoughts, actions, what we say and on our faces. When we smile, cry or yell, we're expressing our feelings.

All kinds of feelings are natural and it's OK to have them.

Sometimes our feelings are confusing, and we wonder if it's the right time to have them. Feelings can be something that we're worried, embarrassed or scared to talk about, but all of our feelings are important - no matter when we have them. Talking through what we're feeling with someone we trust can be a huge help.
